Q: I'm afraid of manual chiropractic adjustments. What other type of adjustments do you
offer?
A: We have a highly advanced computer system that can analyze and treat the spine using a gentle vibration, so
there's no cracking, twisting, or popping. It is a painless adjustment. The computer automatically stops
treatment when the adjustment is made to prevent over or under treatment.
Q: How long has the Doctor been in practice?
A: Dr. Carter has been in practice since 1996 and has treated thousands of patients.
Q: Do you offer therapy after the adjustments to decrease the pain, inflammation, and to
stabilize the spine?
A: We believe that after a treatment, therapy should be utilized to help
with recovery.
Q: I'm concerned about having more pain or soreness after my treatment, how do you help prevent
that?
A: Warming up your spine prior to an adjustment can help prevent injury, soreness, and
pain. In our office, we have the patients warm up before the adjustments. Just like you wouldn't go to a gym
and pick up the heaviest weight you can find without warming up, the muscles of the spine are no different.
Injuries are more common with a "cold" spine.
Q: Do you offer nutritional evaluation?
A: We have a computerized device called
the Asyra that can painlessly evaluate body imbalances in 3 minutes. The Asyra checks for toxins, nutritional
deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and even allergies.
Q: I heard that disc disorders cannot be helped with adjustments. How do you work with disc
disorders?
A: That's correct. There is no adjustment that can heal a disc. We have a spinal disc decompression table that
gently opens up compressed disc to assist with the healing process and decrease nerve pressure. Come to our
office and we will show you how it works!
Q: Do you offer body cleanses?
A: There are thousands of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. These toxins can severely affect your
health. We offer nutritional as well as ionic foot bath detoxification programs.
Q: Other medical professions have continuing education. What do you do to be up-to-date with the
care you provide to patients?
A: Since 1996, Dr. Carter has been attending seminars every 2
months to get educated on the most advanced and effective ways of treating stress and pain related health
problems.
Q: Are you a provider for my insurance plan?
A: We are a provider for most
insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, PHCS and United to name a few.
Q: If the conditions I have needs additional medical help, do you have a medical doctor that you
work with?
A: We work directly with a neurologist that can assist us in diagnosing and
treating various conditions.
Q: How do I know my progress while receiving treatment from you?
A: Knowing
when a condition is resolved is vital, that's why we graph our patient’s progress.
Q: Do you offer different treatment programs?
A: We offer Relief Care, Corrective Care, and Maintenance Care plans. We let you decide what's best for you.
Make your appointment and we will explain to you what each one is about.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: We offer budget and monthly payment programs.
Q: How old is your practice?
A: Our office is very modern. We have one of the most visually appealing offices around. A 7 foot waterfall in
the lobby, granite countertops, 32'' flat screen TV on the ceiling, a Wii system used during therapy, with warm
and bright colors throughout to provide a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for all our
patients.
Q: I am always on the go. Do you offer same day appointments?
A: In most cases,
we can see you the same day you call, during our business hours.
Q: Many medical offices make you wait after the appointment time. What is your policy on
that?
A: Everyone is pressed for time so we make your time our priority. Most visits are seen within 5 minutes of the
scheduled appointment time.
Q: Do you take x-rays?
A: X-rays are the blueprint of your spine. You wouldn't want your dentist drilling your teeth without knowing
where the problem is. Why would you want that with your back and spine? We take only the pictures that are
absolutely needed. We also have a very modern x-ray system that produces very little radiation.
